Sentry

Artific Connect · Sentry gives a key Sentry's own tools: issues, events, releases and their stack traces. It installs from the Marketplace like any other bundle.

What you get

One toolset, sentry, holding everything Sentry's own MCP server offers, plus a skill that tells the model how an issue is identified and how to read a trace without guessing. Attach the toolset to a key and the tools are there.

Signing in

The tools act as the person the turn is for, through that person's own Sentry account — so a turn sees exactly what that person may see, and nothing else. Two things follow:

  • a request must name a user; one that names nobody is told so instead of calling a tool;
  • each person signs in once, from the bundle's page in the console or through the link the model is given the first time it tries.

The consent screen says Artific: the application is this deployment's, registered once by its operator, and no organisation registers one of its own.

Before it works

Your administrator has to allow mcp.sentry.dev in the key's own egress policy — it is both the MCP server and where sign-in and the token exchange run.

If the operator has not registered the Artific application at Sentry yet, the install waits: the bundle sits at needs configuration and names what it is waiting for.

Good to know

  • Verified 2026-09-24 at https://mcp.sentry.dev/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server: the authorization endpoint is https://mcp.sentry.dev/oauth/authorize and the token endpoint is https://mcp.sentry.dev/oauth/token — both at the MCP host itself, so the Artific application is registered as a Sentry OAuth application (Settings → API → Applications) with those in mind. The same metadata also carries a /oauth/register endpoint for dynamic client registration, which Core does not use.
  • Unverified: whether mcp.sentry.dev is one global endpoint that reaches an organisation's data in whichever region it chose at creation (US, or the EU region hosted in Frankfurt at de.sentry.io), or serves only the US region. Sentry's own documentation states the EU region for the product but does not say so for this MCP endpoint specifically; confirmed at the first smoke test with a real EU-region organisation.
  • Rate limits are per person; a long trace is answered as the frames that matter rather than the whole thing.
  • The mark: this bundle's card uses Sentry's own glyph, from its brand assets, listed on sentry.io/branding for exactly this kind of use (checked 2026-09-24).
