Exact Online

Artific Connect · Exact gives a key four reads over Exact Online: accounts, contacts, sales invoices and general ledger accounts, each scoped to one division. It installs from the Marketplace like any other bundle.

What you get

One toolset, exact, holding the four connectors, plus a skill that tells the model why every call names a division and what the rate limit means for a wide read.

Signing in

The tools act as the person the turn is for, through that person's own Exact Online account — so a turn sees exactly what that person may see. Two things follow:

  • a request must name a user; one that names nobody is told so instead of calling a tool;
  • each person signs in once, from the bundle's page in the console or through the link the model is given the first time it tries.

The consent screen says Artific: the application is this deployment's, registered once by its operator in Exact's App Center — and, until that application has passed Exact's own Data & Security Review, it can only connect users of the very Exact instance that registered it, not your organisation's. Ask your operator whether the review has passed before installing.

Before it works

Your administrator has to allow start.exactonline.nl in the key's own egress policy.

If the operator has not registered the Artific application at Exact yet, or the review has not passed, the install waits: the bundle sits at needs configuration and names what it is waiting for.

Good to know

  • Verified 2026-09-24 on support.exactonline.com and apideck.com's summary of Exact's own documentation: the rate limit is 60 calls per division per minute and 5,000 per division per day, and an app must pass the App Center's Data & Security Review before it can connect a customer other than the one that registered it.
  • Verified 2026-09-24: the OAuth endpoints are start.exactonline.nl/api/oauth2/auth and start.exactonline.nl/api/oauth2/token.
  • Exact's refresh tokens are single-use and expire; a connection idle for a long time may need signing in again rather than refreshing silently.
  • The mark: this bundle's card still uses Artific's own placeholder. No official brand or press page with a downloadable mark and usage terms was found on exact.com (checked 2026-09-24); asking Exact directly is the next step.
