KVK Handelsregister

Artific Connect ยท KVK gives a key three reads of the Dutch business register: search it, read a company's basisprofiel, read one branch's vestigingsprofiel. It installs from the Marketplace like any other bundle.

What you get

One toolset, kvk, holding the three connectors, plus a skill that tells the model which number identifies what and which tool answers which question.

Your own API key

This bundle asks for one thing at install: kvk_api_key, your organisation's own KVK API key. Every call is charged to the agreement that key belongs to, which is why it is yours and not the deployment's.

Supply it as a credential of kind api key, in the header apikey:

Until it is supplied the subscription waits at needs configuration and nothing is installed. The key is written once and never read back.

Before it works

Your administrator has to allow api.kvk.nl in the key's own egress policy. The register is hosted in the Netherlands.

Search first when anything but the number is known: it answers both numbers, which the other two take.

Good to know

  • Verified 2026-09-24 on developers.kvk.nl: the production host is api.kvk.nl, search is /api/v2/zoeken, and the key travels in the apikey header.
  • Not confirmed on the vendor's pages, and confirmed at the first smoke test instead: whether the two profile reads take their number in the path (/api/v1/basisprofielen/{kvkNummer}, /api/v1/vestigingsprofielen/{vestigingsnummer}) or as a query parameter. That is how this bundle sends them; the page lists the number as required input without saying where it goes.
  • KVK also runs a free test environment with its own key. Point a copy of the bundle at it by forking the installed connectors if you want to try it before signing an agreement.
  • The mark: this bundle's card uses KVK's own square mark, from kvk.nl, under KVK's terms on using its logo (checked 2026-09-24).
